Feature Spotlight: December 2025
This month we're excited to announce two updates that enhance the event-day experience and give users more control over their communication preferences:
- Stripe POS Terminal Integration
- Enhanced Notification Controls
These releases help Treasure work seamlessly in the high-pressure environment of live events while respecting how users want to engage with our platform.
Stripe POS Terminal Integration
At Treasure, we understand that event day is where all your planning comes to life, and it's also when flexibility matters most. Walk-up ticket sales and on-site transactions are an inevitable part of live events, and handling them smoothly can make the difference between a good event and a great one.
Physical payment processing is a natural extension of our mobile app capabilities. While our mobile app already enabled organizers to check in attendees, record sales, and monitor event stats from anywhere, on-site cash and card transactions still required separate systems, manual reconciliation, or workarounds that created friction during your busiest moments.
By integrating Stripe POS terminals with the Treasure mobile app, we're eliminating that friction entirely. Now you can process walk-up ticket sales directly through Treasure using professional card readers, with every transaction automatically recorded in your event dashboard. No more juggling cash boxes and reconciliation spreadsheets, no more separate payment systems that don't talk to your event data, and no more manual entry of on-site sales after the event ends.

Whether you're handling a surge of last-minute attendees at the gate, processing vendor table upgrades on the fly, or simply want the security and professionalism of card payments instead of cash-only sales, Stripe POS integration gives you seamless payment processing that flows directly into your existing Treasure workflow.
Stripe terminals are free to rent for users on a paid plan. Download our mobile app today on iOS or Android to start making the most of our new integration!
Enhanced Notification Controls
Communication is essential for successful events, but not all notifications are equally relevant to every user. Vendors need updates about their table assignments and event details. Organizers need alerts about new applications and ticket sales. Generic notification settings create noise that can cause users to miss what actually matters to them.
This month, we're giving all Treasure users - both organizers and vendors - granular control over which notifications they receive. From your notification settings, you can now customize your notification preferences based on your role and priorities, ensuring you stay informed about what matters while filtering out what doesn't.
For organizers, this means you can choose to receive instant alerts for new vendor applications but opt out of getting a notification for every ticket sale. For vendors, you might not want a notification for every update to your vendor application.

Better notification control leads to better engagement. When users receive only the communications that are relevant to them, they're more likely to read, respond, and take action. This benefits everyone in the Treasure ecosystem. Organizers get more responsive vendors, vendors stay informed without feeling overwhelmed, and the overall event coordination becomes more efficient.
